As a cable manufacturer, we strictly follow international transportation standards and customer requirements for export packaging to ensure that the cables remain intact during transportation, handling and storage, and also comply with the regulations of customs and the destination country.
Based on the type, weight and mode of transportation of the cables, we adopt the following packaging solutions:
(1) Reel packaging
Wooden reels: Comply with ISPM15 standards (fumigation treatment, pest prevention), suitable for heavy cables.
Steel reels: More robust, suitable for super heavy cables (such as mining cables, high-voltage cables).
Plastic/iron-wood composite reels: Lightweight design, suitable for air transport or small cables.
Protective measures: The ends of the cables are fixed with plastic caps or iron hoops to prevent loosening. The outer layer is wrapped with waterproof PE film + shock-absorbing foam to prevent moisture and impact. The reel shaft holes are covered with protective sleeves to avoid damage during hoisting.
(2) Bundled packaging
Steel band bundling + waterproof film wrapping, suitable for general power cables and control cables. Inner layer with air bubble padding.
(3) Carton/bag packaging
Data cables, communication cables and other light products are packed in reinforced cartons or moisture-proof woven bags. The cartons are filled with foam/air bubble film to prevent transportation vibration.
