Multi Core 4+1 XLPE Insulated Power Cable 0.6/1kV Armored or Unarmored Cable

Application

Suitable for installations indoors: mostly in power supply stations and outdoors: in cable ducts, underground, and on cable trays for industries, switch-boards and power stations. Due to the good laying and mechanical characteristics, this cable is suitable when mechanical protection is required or in applications where mechanical damages are expected to occur

Characteristics

  1. Voltage Rating: Uo/U 600V/1000V
  2. Temperature Rating:Fixed intallation: -20°C to +90°C
  3. Minimum Bending Radius: 1.5mm2 to 16mm2 - Fixed: 6 x overall diameter 25mm2 and above - Fixed: 8 x overall diameter

Construction

  1. ·Conductor:Plain annealed stranded circular compacted copper conductor (Class 2)
  2. ·Conductor Screen: Extruded layer of a cross-linkable semi-conducting compound as a stress control layer
  3. ·Insulation: Extruded layer of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE).
  4. ·Insulation Screen: Extruded layer of a cross-linkable semi-conducting compound firmly bonded to the insulation.
  5. Metallic Screen: Flat plain copper tape helically applied over the insulation screen with suitable overlap.
  6. ·Filler: Non-hygroscopic polypropylene filler suitable for the operating temperature of the cable
  7. ·Bedding: Extruded layer of Polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
  8. ·Armouring: Single layer of round galvanized steel wires.
  9. ·Outer Sheath:Extruded layer of Polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
