Copper Conductor XLPE Insulated Power Cable Cu/XLPE/PVC/SWA Medium Voltage Cable
Application
XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) insulated cables are widely used in power transmission and distribution systems due to their high thermal resistance, mechanical strength, and excellent electrical insulation properties. They are commonly applied in medium- to high-voltage networks, underground and submarine installations, industrial plants, and commercial or residential buildings. XLPE cables are ideal for harsh environments, as they withstand high temperatures (up to 90°C continuous operation), moisture, and chemical exposure. They also serve in renewable energy projects (e.g., solar and wind farms), transportation infrastructure (subways, railways), and utility grids, offering reliable performance, long service life, and higher current-carrying capacity compared to traditional PVC or PE insulation.
